The UAE Flag Day was celebrated on Thursday, 3rd November at RAK International Airport with great zeal and enthusiasm at 11 am. The day marks allegiance and loyalty to the national identity for both Emiratis and residents of this great nation.
H.E. Engr. Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al-Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, board member of General Civil Aviation Authority & RAK Executive Council on behalf of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah on this auspicious day.
H.E also congratulated Rulers and Supreme Council members, the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of all the other emirates as well as the UAE Nationals, dignitaries and officials.
 “We are extremely proud of our Flag day as this constitutes our commitment and resolve towards contributing to the safety, security and future of our great nation. We are determined to stand together towards the progress and growth of UAE, making it one of the best and most sought after countries in the world. We are empowering our people and the future generations with highest quality of education, so they can develop not only themselves but have a healthy and positive pathway carved ahead for our great nation”, he stated.
