At present there are two hangars for cargo storage. One has a space of 5000 m². The other is 2000 m². The controlled temperature area is 12x4 m. Area for hazardous goods as well as for valuables is available.  Additional land space in the airport area is available for carriers or freight forwarders with heavy cargo operations. This is available on B.O.T. basis or on the basis of a 5-year free land lease- depending on the volume of operations

The ground handling equipment is up to date and the staff is highly trained. The airport is capable of handling all types of goods including bulk cargo, dangerous goods and live-animals and has facilities for cold storage and valuables. Customs services are available 24 hours a day. The average volume of cargo handled per annum is 12.66 Million KGs
